Many times in previous seasons, this sort of thing has been said about Long, yet 9/10 he comes back and proves them wrong, i'm confident he will do again.

An extremely lethargic performance. For the second week running we looked like a team who lacked organisation. To be caught in possession on the last three times in one match is a joke.

Before we get some organisation back, we need some effort first.

It's not quite panic stations just yet. Attitude was all wrong today. It doesn't help when the "rent a gob" of our team was spouting to anyone who'd listen that he didn't want to be playing the game. I'm glad it's a big game next week, I think it'll be a different story then.

Wigan didn't even get out of second gear.Richards was almost in slow motion when he passed to Tommy for his try.And still no one could catch him (all though carrot yed tried his best).

You would have thought after last weeks fiasco in going back 50 yards they would have sorted that out, but no, we got caught on the last in the first few minues tonight.

Started a topic on here last week pal about Long being past it(at least for a title challenging club), not as a knee jerk reaction to his performance against the bulls but based on the majority of his performances over the last 12-18 months and the injuries suffered. As i expected though i was shot down by those who wear the rose tinted glasses. For whats its worth i believe we need to be starting with either Wheeler or eastmond at half back now; and before i am shot down again by those who think that both are too inexperienced & will cost us games, i agree, however that is only what is happening now with Long. The benefit though when throwing kids in at the deep end is they will learn very quickly and even quicker when learning from their own mistakes

He took a huge head blow early on and came considerably worse off. He was clearly dazed and confused, the look on his face was almost "Did anyone get the number of that bus?"

He needed to be taken off and allowed to recover rather than left on the field. He looked groggy and tired, a head shot takes it out of you. The body's recovery process from a shaken brain is TIRING, basic sports science. He should have taken time to let his body do the hard recovery on the sidelines, then come back out.

Whose fault's that? Your coach perhaps? Your fitness staff? Long himself? In his state, the decision should have been made for him.

I agree it wasn't just long who was pi$$ poor but i'm gettin very worried bout his form.

I hate to say it but I think he is finished.

His passing, defence, kicking at the moment looks pretty poor.

I just hope he avin a run of poor form.
