| I'm putting my money on wolves to win super league this year. I think smith learned a big lesson last year when they finished top but was burned out.
I think he's been clever resting players this and has come in for some stick but I think we will see a fresh healthy Warrington side come play off time.

Probably. Wire are the best team in SL by an absolute country mile when they put it all together but they always have a brain explosion in them. We'll need to win at the flatpack to reach O/T in all likelihood and we'll need one of those explosions timed nicely - I wouldn't bet against it just yet...

And yet, there has been criticism of that idea on here when I've suggested it would be a good one, mixing and matching. In fact, we did start the season doing the same thing and for the same reason, and it was criticised big time.
Funny how the policy is now paying dividends for our opposition!

| Warrington will do extremely well to win the title after a CC appearance, particularly if they win it (they still do celebration well).

If there's any team that could it it's Wire, but it's an incredibly tough feat to do the double in modern SL. Hats off to them if they do do it.

We ain't got the squad to rotate and we ain't good enough either. Warrington have good depth and TS has even rested the whole team some weeks and still competed.

Once we were back on our feet, perhaps we'd have been well advised to try just a couple of tinkerings, Gaskell to #6 and Hohaia to #1, for example, or perhaps give Makinson or Swift a go at full back, but I get the impression that Rush was happy just to stick with a game plan that he knew would win the majority of games and I don't think that is going to change. He's an interim coach, don't forget, so I can imagine his main objective is to keep things rspecable whilst we all look forward to a bright new era under our next proper coach. If he finishes third, especially after the position when we started, then I can imagine he'll be quite happy with himself.

Once their owners get bored and frustrated of not being able to buy their way around the salary cap to a GF win (or appearance) they and their under-the-counter cash will disappear and Dire and their knuckle-scraping fans will return to the mid-table schedule-filler status that is their natural place in the scheme of things

Totally agree. I thought Morley rolled back the years last night with some strong running and crunching defence. Added to which all there squad looks fresh and look like there gunna make a real tilt at the play offs.
