From what I'm told saints wanted shut of Kyle but bath wouldn't pay and Kyle wanted his full wage paid in full to go.

I wouldn't play him again.

As others have said, Saints wanted rid of Eastmond with immediate effect so we could replace him but could not come to terms on compensation with Bath.

If Saints wanted to let Eastmond go before the end of the season they would have to pay out his contract.

I hope to God we start to see more committed displays from him now this is resolved and, failing that, I hope Royce has the conviction to make him play for the reserves because any more displays like Friday night and there will be riots at Widnes!

I don't think you can as the season has started. Warrington got away with it with Hicks as it was out of season.
I'm not 100% certain, but I think that's how it works.

I don't think he realises that he comes across as a right tit sometimes - or maybe a left one, depending on your preference.

I think the situation with Kyle is actually quite similar to that of Richie Myler and his millions at Warrington. Two young guns, thinking they're ace and following the big bucks. McRae ditched Myler once he decided to leave. I think Royce should do the same. I don't think it will do anyone any good to have someone playing in such a crucial role who does not want to be there.

Not with good reason, if he is fit and states he will play then you won't be able to de-register him.

We de-registered Daryll Cardiss (I think it was him) about 5 years ago becuase he was injured for a season so we were able to basically sack him.
But if a player is fit and able to play then his contract would override any desire by Saints to get rid of him.

Could do worse than Chris Sandow at South Sydney. I believe that his contract is up at the end of the year.

He's also not afraid of taking on the big boys - go to your favourite video site and look for Chris Sandow v Micheal Ennis.

He could be fired for disciplinary reasons. He's already had to issue an apology for his behaviour. If he doesn't give what is expected of him, that could be used to build a case for dismissal.
