His lack of playing time is probably showing, the problem he has is their isnt enough games left to play himself into some rhythm and form and even if their was he can't sting the games together without getting injured. I wouldn't be shocked to see him at a Championship club next season where hopefully he can build some form and try to earn a SL contract.

I think it's just not happened for him, I lost the faith midway through this season, others long before that, I always felt he needed a decent run injury free, but it's just not happened at all. Even when he was first pick.

Well, with him not selected for this weekend, I reckon option 2's the winner.

I don't think there are many Wheeler haters as such, it is just hard to justify a contract to a player who is only available for a small fraction of every season. He has shown extremely brief glimpses of being a talented player and nowhere near enough consistent performances to ever give a deal to. If he goes on and turns in Matty Smith, or Sean Long for that matter and wins 10 consecutive GF's against us for Wire, could anyone really blame us for letting him go right now?

Talking of Wheeler, did anyone see him tonight? I saw Wilkin, Lomax, Laffranchi and Dawson, but not Wheeler. But I possibly missed him.

Problem with Wheeler is that he is in a really un-healthy bubble. His family etc.... not the ideal people to be around.
