Well to be fair we've got the money to spend ... we're trading at a profit (a reduced profit for 2012 to be announced at the forthcoming AGM - modest but a profit non the less), 2013 should be even more profitable with a visit to Wembley and Old Trafford, not to mention the income from Tomkins, Mossop and Hock, so hey why not splash the cash !

Yes but the rent is all we have to worry about, no cladding flooding on concourse, understaffed bars etc etc all the upkeep, we just have 2 clubs paying rent for someone else to worry about the upkeep, got our own Central Park at Pemberton and training ground at Orrell where the the players spend most of their time anyway, it works for Mr. Lenagan so why should anyone be bothered, we have a great facility at the D.W.

The has been some teething problems with cladding etc but it's home. We can call langtree park our home. It's exclusively ours. We don't need to reshuffle fixtures to fit in with the landlord. We ain't lining the pockets of a idiot like whelan.
