Well done Simmons; I think we'll see a big season from Wilkin if Royce is true to his word.

There's no question that he's a talented player who's wasted in the second row (although he does a very good job there and works tremendously hard, despite the know nowt abuse he gets).

I personally think Wilkin is a great player!
If he really didn't care or was more bothered about 'watching himself' then why would he have came back onto the field after breaking his nose in 2004?

Wilkin was excellent tonight, his handling and vision in the first half was top class.

He was very good, wasn't he? I think Simmons is right to play him as he is doing; the early signs are that it is bringing out the best in Wilkin.

I have been very impressed by his start to the season...

Physically he looks in the best shape we have seen him and he is playing very well.

Credit to him.

Wilkin is in better shape this season and when he's in the 2nd row or at Loose forward he really is a good player for us. Wilkin needs to play like this consistently though, he's started the season well before and tailed off.

Let's hope Simmons can bring the best out o him.

Even if wilkin gets to 80% the player he was in 2006 he'll be the best 13 in super league!

Wilkin had another top game agaisnt Salford.

Its far better seeing him allowed to use his football ability rather than just bash and barge it down the field.

O'Loughlin yes, but I don't think there's a great deal between Sinfield and Wilkin.
