| Quote: Aboveusonlypie "Just to take issue with a couple of your points (apologies to Saints fans -but he brought it up)
In terms of ties - you play in Super League. If Wigan get hammered by the Roosters then it affects the credibility of the competition. If it really is to be your year this year - then you might find that the NRL winners aren't that bothered about either hosting you or coming to the HJS.
Secondly the claim about taking players out is rich considering Ben Westwoods assault on Green at the start of the final when he knew he was unlikely to get sent off. Why don'y you just agree that BOTH sides are capable of dirty play?'"
Broken orbital, one step up from a black eye.
You do know the Wire injury list for that game?
Fractured skull, Broken Ribs, Ligament damage to two ankles on the same person, Two cracked skulls, a broken ankle and serious concussion.
But you moan about Green and his black eye.
Westwood just retaliated at all the stuff Wigan were getting away with unseen or their unsporting yet within the rules play, some of which outlawed for the 2014 NRL season, as our enforcer i wouldnt expect any less of him tbh.

| We play in SL therefore we shouldn't help Roosters win...yeah we should have stayed loyal to SL and helped you win it so that you could arrogantly ram it down our throats every 5 minutes.
I'm glad we helped Roosters, I'll be shouting for them for 80 minutes too as I do any team that play you including Saints

Yeah well. As I said if Wigan get battered when it comes to your turn you might find the Aussies are no longer interested in playing British teams. If you were playing id stick up for wire just as I supported the Rhinos last year. I think it's good for the game here if we are competitive with the NRL.

I might be wrong but I think a good few of your team went into the game carrying injury. Monaghans injury was caused by his own tackling technique and was no way Richards fault.
You seem to be confusing outcome with intent. Westwood certainly intended to cause injury all of the other tackles including Hansens are up for debate.
Are you saying that the ref was biased in Wigan's favour?

Biased? No
The trouble with Wigan is they are like tax lawyers, what they do is legal but unethical.
You look at things you can do that push the limits of the laws, laws have been changed and updated on the back of some of your 'unsavoury' play, including the Hanson 3rd man in on a player that's effectively tackled.
When the Saints Wigan game was obviously looking like a game of tight margins you deliberately targeted the only consistent kicker they had GOB and that almost worked when Saints missed every penalty presented to them.

Well that's the difference between us. Are you aware of how you are parading your bitterness and stupidity all over the Saints board. Probably better to just stick with stupidity like me!!!!

To be fair, I imagine he is in the majority when stating he hopes Wigan get beat. You'll do well to find many neutrals who will be shouting for Wigan.

Probably in a diminishingly small minority, but I hope Wigan stuff them.

I'll never ever understand this if I'm honest. A Saints fan wanting Wigan to be World Champions makes no sense whatsoever.

| Nope can't shout for Wigan on this one.
I think the only time I want Wigan to win is when it will benefit us ie taking out a rival.
AS we are not in this competition then whilst not supporting the aussies, I'm not wanting Wigan to win.

I think it's better for the game over here big picture, in terms of oiling the wheels of a potential money spinning expanded WCC that has been floated a number of times recently. It's also good for the credibility of SL as a competition which carries a number of positives that aren't immediately obvious, including what we as spectators think about the standard of RL we're paying to watch (and that sponsors are paying to support).
I'm also probably influenced by having flown over to Oz a couple of times to support GB/England and putting up with the Sydney natives . . . .

Nothing that you have described is worth having Wigan as World Champions.
