Putting an advertisement on television doesn't count on your salary sheet. 
I have no doubt that your coaching is superior to ours, that is evident on the field. However, the figures still don't add up when you take into account the vast differences. Although your coaches, conditioners etc.. may be better, they won't (or shouldn't) command such a hike in salary from ours, we won't be paying peanuts to ours. |

If they did then it wasn't very effective as a policy because I don't know about you but I have never seen a single ad by Wigan on TV. Total waste of money. Posters are far more effective, in strategic places. Damn sight cheaper too.
Mind you, Saints don't do that either! |

Wakefield have TV adverts as well, it's nothing to shout about. It's cheaper for Wigan though as they don't have TVs there.
Wakefield are so high rolling they do their adverts for away games that they get very little revenue from.

Perhaps its because we don't indulge in the sort of practices that interest HMRC.
IF we were under HMRC investigation then our auditors would have to make us acknowledge it in our accounts or they wouldn't sign them off.
Wigan's accounts confirm HMRC enquiries ours don't.

I'm not entirely sure and it sounds like saint at wire would be able to elaborate but I think this in itself is an offence if it was to occur? |
