I think this is his third session out injured this season, isn't it? Methinks his age may be catching up with him ...
I don't think Robes should play on Sunday. If we lose, we lose. I'd rather have him rested without further damage to his nose/eye bone and ready for Wigan.
Saints confirmed on Twitter that Leon is still four weeks away but he is now running and apparently rehab is going well.
I'll believe that Flannery is due to return when he gets on the pitch! He might roll his ankle in warm up!

| Yeah drop Robes. Awesome news that it's only a cracked skull and nothing to the circuit boards or servos.

| As for Roby, no point playing him on Sunday if he could aggrevate the injury. You win nowt in June!!

| No point risking Wellens and Roby especially with Wigan and Warrington coming up.
If everyone comes through OK I reckon we'll see something like this:
Eastmond
Makinson
Shenton
Meli
Foster
Gaskell
Lomax
Perry
Moore
LMS
Flannery
Wilkin
Puletua
Soliola
Graham
Magennis
Ashe
Pretty strong side and bench, maybe Royce will want Graham and Soliola to start but either way strong 17.
Roby and Wellens returning the week after could give us a strong side for the derby.

| Be great to see Flannery back, I think it would be stupid to risk James Roby so soon.

Agree about robes, but not missed "mr Average" Flannery TBH.
Aslo, I don't know who suggested Eastmond at full back but they want their head examining in my very humble opinion. Against bratford I'd put in Makinson and bring in Armstrong on the wing or vice versa.(Armstrong's not injured is he? )

I wouldn't have Eastmond at fullback either. He wasn't any good there when we have tried him in the past. I would imagine Nathan Ashe will be played at fullback instead, assuming his leg is alright. Ashe appears to be the understudy. We should leave Makinson on the wing, let him get his bearings there as we are going to need him against Wigan and Wire.
Armstrong is back at Leigh. He played for them last week.

Fair enough. I forgot about Ashe!

18821_1298880800.jpg
I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.
Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.
Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.
Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666
0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".
Therefore ZERO.
Correct: on sporting life "sizzler" said
"I will give him until Sunday and if the swelling goes down and the numbness leaves his face, I will play him"
not quite - he is fit to play.
