Reading this and the "massive game" topic (McManus M.E.N. article) it appears that Brown is fighting for his position. Will he be known as wooden head?

Actually, the wooden boats reference was the best bit of what was a politician's piece IMO. It was quite a rather good insult. I just hope he included the coach when speaking of 'men' as our gutless Easter offerings (and I include the Challenge Cup in that) were as much his responsibility as that of the players.

McManus is a highly intelligent man and has a broad knowledge on a range of subjects, his references are always incredibly accurate but the vast majority of people just don't understand him.

Most understand what he's saying but why not just say it as it is instead of going around the world to say it.

Isn't Forster too old for the U19's now? Maybe Brown wants to give them both a game this week, Savelio in the U19's and Forster in the first team.
I'm not saying I agree with him btw but maybe that is the reasoning.
