Warrington & Hull struggling with injuries, some clubs nothing to play for, is making a farce of the competition, no wonder attendances are dropping. Saturday's Wembley attendance was a disgrace, 76,235 that includes 15,000 Club Wembley Holders and of course no more that 20% of them were there in that section, and the RFL still feel they do a great job.

Pretty sure Hull don't have any injuries in the senior squad at all.

Most sides have endured injuries all season. Makinson hasn't hardly played at all this season & the likes of Percival injury, Thompson & Walsh banned are out so the game will be an even contest.

If that is true they are devaluing the Super 8 Competition, turning it into a joke.

Amazing how poor Saints were in that game, a bit better in the last 20 against an exhausted side, how we managed to stay in it with that makeshift side I'll never know.

Referee was an absolute joke (both way). Should never be allowed near the Super 8's again.

Good result but a dreadful performance.

Awful stop start game for the first 60 mins we only managed to open up play when Hull finally got tired out. Our ball retention is still garbage, couple of good efforts from Knowles and Greenwood. Thought the ref was very poor.

Given the skewed ban that Walsh got from SKY, sorry the RFL, sorry Wigan. (same thing). I think most people would have taken 2 points from the next 2 games.
You can see from this year that without a proper 7 we have struggled.
Personally I would give him another year as I'm not sure there is anyone remotely available who will step up to match his organisation of the team.

Agree, the atmosphere inside the ground sounded hollow, more like an echo when there was any sound.

Glad someone else questions the referee, he is the golden boy of the moment, but I get sick of the shouting that comes from all of the referees, until late in the match not one offence of offside, both sides were bad at it, same with holding down at the tackle the game slows right down, then scrums, the Many water carriers each side have they must do more metres than the players.

Not sure if you will remember a referee called Whitfield from Widnes, going back some time I went with him to a few games, he was a ex player like Campbell last night and they seem to love themselves? there were so many bad decisions and the happy flag wavers are a joke at times, I often wonder if ex players think more of the players angle rough game, rather than than the rules?

No wonder Sky News last night only talked about the new RU Premiership season and showed action from a few games, and is BT Sport who have the rights for it?

This season's Super 8 seems to have become a joke, the end of what seems like a long season, not sure what interest there will be in the Internationals? Surprised the attendance was 10,085

Typical super league standard game. Lots of holding down in the tackle, lots of pens, lots time wasting and mostly boring rugby.

The sooner the RFL clamp down on these awful game spoiling tactics the better.
