As it's a sellout, you won't be able to change ends at half time and guarantee a good spot.

Best to get there early, find a spot at the front (giving a good view of all the pitch), put the kid on the wall, and don't move.

Anywhere on the wall is fine, mate, but you need to be on early.

When I say early you really need to be on at least 70 mins before kick off.

Unless he's tall avoid the popular side and get there early. If you want a spot on the wall then get there a good couple of hours before kick off to get a position. If you leave it later than that you'll be pushing it. Getting in the paddock though underneath the main stand is always a good idea though if you have youngsters with you. I'd avoid standing in the away end unless you've got a strong constitution and your lad is resistant to disease.

Don't go in the away end, beer will be flying round at full time!

There is only one place a young child can possibly see, that is on the wall, anywhere around the ground. You will need to get there early to secure a place on the wall for your child and then don't move.

Agreed take them a little step to stand on though my dear old mum is only 5ft in heels that obviously doesn't wear on matchday. Nothing more frustrating than getting there over an hour early getting a spot on the wall only for a couple of whippersnappers to jump on it making them about 6'2" and obstructing her view.
