| Wouldn't mind Lynch or maybe if we could give Solomona some fitness, and make him drop some weight, he would be a handy addition to the squad..
How old is Halley? He looks be he half decent, and providing he's pretty young, could be a good signing for us. Would also add some compeition out wide.
At the end of the day, we have a very, very good starting 17 with only one or two players outside of that, that are proven players that could cover if injuries occur. This is our problem at the moment, IMO. By keeping the current squad, and bringing a few more players would strength the squad, rather than strengthen the the 17 players. Although, saying that, i'm not saying sign players for the sake of it like Bradford, or we'll end up in there position.

| Andy Lynch would be nice. He'd be a very good replacement for Cayless.

23, I hope he's one of the ones we are looking to retain, but I haven't heard anything as of yet.

Not too old then, plenty of time for improvement. By no means is a world beater, but he has the potential to be a very good winger, with the correct coaching. I think he'd do alright down Saints, add plenty of compeition and give Gardner and Meli a kick up the ar$e.

| I've always rated Thorman highly. If Long does go, he would not be a bad replacement, IMO.

What's so funny? The guy has ability. He is just low on confidence and has been for a year or so. With a top class pack to work behind, he could be a very shrewd signing.

Somebody didn't watch the Leeds Hull game last night.
Thorman has gone backwards faster than something else that has also lost loads of talent over a five year period.

No, I didn't see the game last night.
Even so, just as a couple of good performance does not make you a world beater, a couple of poor one does not make you rubbish either.
You can be the best half back in the world, if you are playing behind beaten forwards, then you've no chance.

| Do you honestly think we would sign Thorman to replace Long? Really? Do you think we would? Are we Bradford?

IF Long leaves at the end of the season, we will need someone at halfback to help bring Eastmond/Wheeler et al through as they will probably not be ready to make the No 7 shirt their own next year.
IF Smith does not seem up to the task (he may not even be available) and IF we could get Thorman on the cheap and IF he would sign for just one year, then yes, IMO, it would be a decent short-term move.
I'm all for giving the young lads a go, but they need old heads around them and losing Long (and possibly Gidley, Cunningham and Cayless too) would seem them woefully exposed.

| I'd be tempted to give lynch a go. He is good hard working prop but not sure if he is good enough to replace JC.
It's shame JC is so injury prone as he was class for us when fit.
If meli was out of contract I'd replace him with tadulala.
