I really don't understand what people want Mose to do? I think he'll need to kill somebody in a tackle before he gets any praise.'" totally agree with you Mose did great tonight best game I have seen him play so far. The whole team played very well. Remember some people on here never praise anyone, all they do is slag them off . You will have to get used to that

It's that 'broken foot' thing. According to Nathan Brown he has a broken foot. Let's just hope it's less of a broken foot than Turner had as I think he is one of if not the best of our young forwards (Greenwood also looking very good).
I went to the match tonight and I have watched it back because although we were far from perfect, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing a similar Saints to the Saints I saw in the early part of the season, and I include the little kick that didn't quite come off for Walsh which shadows thinks was Walsh trying to score points against Brough (bit of a daft thing to suggest really). I like it that we have a halfback willing (and often capable) of mixing it up and trying things out. That way he remains edgy and the opposition will find him difficult. I love watching Walsh play when our forwards allow him to, as they did tonight.
Particularly Mosoe. He was wonderful. If he is still learning, as he said he was in his Sky MoM interview, then we are in for a treat once he's got to grips with his role. He was knackered by the end of that match but he worked really hard and all his offloads were class. We were all singing his name in the West Stand. What a treat. Our impact forward dropped noticably when he went off.
Roby looked like the old Roby - at last! He was zipping around all over the place. Great to see.
I don't know what has happened to Soliola because although his first half was pretty good he was back to his relatively invisible self in the second. Shame really as he has been so good for us previously and we need him to up his game while we are short on forward punch.
Wellens has to play full games, somewhere. His leadership is invaluable to us.
Although we still made some unbelievably dumb errors and our goal line defence is useless, I really enjoyed the match tonight. We scored some lovely tries and our commitment was back to its early season form.
The test now comes to see whether we can replicate it as a minimum for a second consecutive week, preferably improving on areas where we are still clearly lacking.

Very pleased.
He took the ball up for 16 carries gaining 155 metres with 2 tackle busts in heavy traffic and 2 offloads don't think he missed a tackle. Also intelligently positioned for his try between the sticks.
Played a "hybrid " kind of game for a forward seemed to be playing 2 roles as a holding and impact prop, not sure but I thought he did 2 stints in each half for around 40 mins, post match he looked pleasantly knackered.
Hopefully this is a benchmark for him as his match fitness is improving every game.

16 carries at 9.69m per carry, 2 tackle busts, 1 clean break, 0 errors and a try.
If Taylor registered those stats you would be foaming at the mouth.
Either post sensibly or disappear.

| Taylor has regularly posted them kind of stats and so does clubb but that has nothing to do with it. Huddersfield were soft last night and the kind of player Mose is you would expect a hell of a lot more, some of you should go back and watch panthers games from last year if that performance got you excited last night you would be creaming if he ever reaches last season form.
it was a decent work load for the stints he played for 1 clean break came from the silver wood obstruction plus the try of course and only 2 tackle busts isn't good enough for mose.

Mose has made more metres than Chubby or Taylor so far this year according to the stats with Mose missing the first quarter of the season so far.
Chubby is also one of the worst defenders for missed tackles at Wigoon.

Masoe was very good last night and the stats back that up.
Stop embarrassing yourself.

Some of us DID watch Penrith last season. Once I knew we were getting Walsh and Mosoe I watched every Panthers game.
You're making an ass of yourself. Go back to your own board.

Lms was good without being great, still room for improvement. Walker had a poor first stint, and I was prepared to start writing him off, but was poking his nose through in his second stint, and generally did alright.'"
It's strange how we all view the match differently.
I had Walker, Turner and LMS as our worst players. Turner in particular had quite a few brain farts and at times looked frightened to back himself.
My top 3 were Roby, Mose and Wello with Wilkin for an honourable mention. Greenwood impressed as well and contrary to other comments I thought Flanagan played well.

Roby, Mose, wello and Walsh were all immense for their contributions (in all it's forms) looking up the stats this morning, walker was our strongest youngster, averaging 7 metres a carry, compared to 5.7 for greenwood, 5.5 for Richards and 4.5 for Thompson. I agree I think he's the most limited potential wise, but he had a good game yesterday, after a shaky start.
I retract my statement on lms after seeing his stats, but turner was strong in defence (19 tackles made to 1 miss) he just needs to see the ball more - 1 carry every 10 minutes isn't enough. We didn't attack his way all night, so he could of gone looking for the ball. But like I say, it's hardly something to call him out for (unlike his constant throwing the pass to no one vs Warrington!)

His performance against Warrington may well be why we didn't attack his way all night.
I was disappointed by that but only for a silly reason. Makinson is now only one point ahead of the next in line in the top try scorer league and I want him to win!
So Saints, get sending that ball to T Mak!

tbh I think the big difference last night was the attitude and commitment shown by the players. I still wasnt really impressed with LMS and I think Wheeler is wasted in the centre's rather than in his natural position of 6.
