The one we won or the one we lost?

Looks good to me. I think we'd get so much more out of Laffranchi if we played him in the back row. This would also mean a bit more game time for Walmsley, who has well and truly earned it.

I'd start Clough over Walmsley, keep him for impact from the bench, particularly now TP is back.
Spell TP with Walmsley and Clough with LMS - we should keep one of Walmsley and TP on the pich at all times to offer something in attack IMO.

| I do wonder if Laffranchi would be put at Loose, if we had a full set of props out there. But with Perry gone, will that ever happen???

Can't see why not.
Our forwards could be: TP/Clough/LMS/Walmsley and then put Laffranchi either at second row or loose.

| Quote: Saddened! "I don't see what the support for Swift as a winger is about? He's clearly not a winger and will never forge a career there, so why waste time pretending he is? Gardner has done well when he's played and if anything, his returns will be vital given how poor the pack is at the moment. He'll probably do 100m worth of hard work through the game which could be crucial. Swift won't do that.'"
Aye wingers with pace and a step are sooooo overrated.

Nope. That's not what I said at all. That is so far from what I said as to be on another linguistic planet.
Try again.

Not to mention the ability to catch a bomb it would seem. So far this season Gardner has failed to catch one, if memory serves. Swift has already succeeded him in his ability in this regard.

| I read in a piece written by Nigel Wiskar, linked on Twitter, that Hohaia is due to play at 9 for us this weekend.
If that is true, who on earth is playing at 6?

I haven't been told the team, so this is purely a guess...but I cannot see anyone else playing there out of the squad named.

Browm might see the option.......Howarth was a scrum half, so if selected could play there with Wilkin moving over to 6.

| Why not Howarth at 6. 6 does not really do anything for us so would there be much difference???
