it will be even lower next year if the players demonstrate the same level of disdain for the fixture and the supporters who have made the journey.
FWIW there wasnt a significant reduction on previous years IMO - we seemed to be spread out around the ground rather than congregating in one block like other clubs did.

After wire, goons, leeds, hudds, bradofrd, celtic, london, salford, london and halifax, we had the most fans there.

Or me. I am also going to Rome if United get there. After my weekend in Spain fell through it was a choice between Edinburgh and watching United in a European Cup Final. Only one winner, every time.

| Quote: {Hogan} "Anyone watch the sky coverage when they went to the changing rooms during half time. Potter was stood there looking into space rather than rail roading his players as i believe Anderson used to do.
Anyone would have thought it was Wigan who was 24-6 down at half time.
Has he lost control already?'"
I was very worried that the walls were'nt peeling. At the very least I expected coffee to be lashed around the joint.
What was even more disturbing was that there appeared to be no bucket to boot about. In fact the place was like a tidy little church, and this congregation were not getting the fiery sermon they deserved.
Instead, we were 'treated' to mild mannered Mick's half time chat, when in truth the finger should have been jabbing and the face bright red. If Mick had got the steam coming from his nostrils Alex Murphy would have been proud and the result different.
If Potter can't show ability to get in a huff, then I think the seasons a goner.

| Quote: saint billy "The thing that really gets me with Potter is that when we lose, he just simply says 'the better side won on the day'. This may be correct, but as a fan i want to know why we didn't perform, what went wrong, or even some reassurance that they are going to work on things that went wrong. Just something more than the better side won on the day. He doesn't seem very enthusiastic.'"
Dad said exactly the same thing to me on Sunday! There's no need to criticise the players, because most people on here can do that, but at least try to enlighten some of the points from the game!
I'll be honest with you though... I don't think the other teams in the competition have improved up to us & Leeds, I think we've both moved back into the pack... Why?
1. Well squad depth, recruitement issues with the cap...
2. But mainly the poor refereeing! They allow too much lying-on! Wigan are the worst in the league for it. They gang up in the tackle & then 'peel' one by one. That's been banned since 1996, along with the flop, but the officials seem to be turning a blind-eye to it?! Cummins needs to go because the officials are garbage! If they bring the 10m rule down to 5m then we'd might as well go and watch paint dry because it'll be more interesting than loadsa fatties in cherry&white shirts having a sleep on the man!
To be honest though, Wigan played by the officials rules from this year & fair play! Saints don't lie-on & I think this year it's costing us because we're not re-loading in time and getting caught down the middle, especially when teams use 'flat-balls' on the inside shoulder of the 'A' defender!... It means we're on the back-foot and Smith's kicking game & Wigan's chase murdered us! I'm a great believer in 'sets of 8' (5 plays, kick-chase & 2 strong defense tackles). Wigan did it brilliantly and deserved their win. Now I know I'll be confusing alot of you on here because reading some of your posts you know very little, or nothing about Rugby League Football, so I've probably lost some of you after the first sentence?! For those with any idea I hope you agree...

That sounds like a good explanation to me did you notice which way the players were looking when this shot of the dressing room took place
