i feel that by keeping the supporters in the dark for this prolonged period is damaging to the relationship between the guys who pay their money to support the team and the guys who collect that money. i agree that it could well effect the team having eastmond continue to play with the bath move hanging over his head and also damage the club by having to pay his salary. the whole situation just seems a huge muddle with the loyal supporters being the ones short changed either way it pans out. rugby union clubs were aware at the beginning of last season that eastmond was considering a move the deal should have been forced through pre season so this charade would not have to have been played out

That's what I thought, although he may just be saying that as he isn't sure if hes going now or in November yet.
If he does stay it'll be difficult for him to get the trust of the fans back based on recent antics. The only way to change the fans mind is to perform well on the pitch and even then, the damage may already have been done. This whole situation has become farcical and it needs to be resolved in the next few days one or the other. |

As mentioned by other people already, Monday is perfect. We're in Catalonia for a week so he'll have minimal worries there as the knuckle draggers that were abusing him won't own a passport let alone enough money to pay for international travel.
Royce seems to have given him the kitchen sink judging by some of the comments attributed to him today. |
