| Oh I'm not worried yet, in fact in a perverse way this loss will make a few of our players have a long hard look at each other and actually be beneficial.

I could argue that Saints were lucky to get so many knock on's from Wire tonight but would prefer to say as a team we forced them.

| Our loss to Leeds was one of those that could have gone either way, and we gained easy yards even when under the cosh which made us believe it was just one of those nights when someone had to lose, we learned nothing from it.
Last week v Wigan should have been the wake up call, we gained 2 points i thought we had no right to take.
Trouble is i think they just accepted the win and went out on the lash to celebrate and didn't take in their failings.
This week they have been embarrassed and i'd like to think TS will give them a serious going over this week.

You didn't though, we were on the Brainfart central to losersville tonight, very few errors were forced which is our main frustration.

Saints' start to the game put Wire under an awful lot of pressure. Pressure they responded poorly to, panicking and trying to score from every play without building the required pressure on the line first.

| We're playing the same regardless of if we are winning or losing though Sad one, that's the problem, not just tonight since game one barring Hudds in which i think we were in single figures for offloads which isn't like us.

As did Saints start to the game against Leeds Last week. On both fronts Stevo blamed lack of opposition's defence as opposed to Saint's cutting edge offence. I think we are seeing the start of a comprehensive game plan under Mike and Kieron,

| Rush is clearly not a genius and by his own admission has not done anything startlingly radical in the last 2 weeks. However, I posit that he is probably extremely good at man-management.
Our squad has bags of ability in some places a lot of experience. I reckon Rush and KC stood in front of them (esp the senior players) and told it like it is - they weren't earning their money and had effectively got 2 good men sacked because of their poor performance. What are you going to do about it?
I also reckon they train them pretty hard! I can imagine KC being a pretty uncompromising taskmaster.

The performance against Hull was abysmal too. We look like a new team and it's not all down to Roby (despite you and and Sky morons thinking so)'"
Got to agree with Saints Fan about the bradford game - I thought it was much improved quite a bit over the Hull game where we were really awful.
Even against the Cats, we were pretty good for the first 60 mins and should have killed the game at the end. I didn't go to the Hudds game but from what I read and was told, we were very unlucky not to win that one and it was only brough's unbelievable good fortune that won it for them.

| We had the ability to grunt out wins in those games that we lost, but grunting out wins was not very effective.
I went to the Huddersfield game and although it was close and so we could have won it, we offered very little attacking threat from any part of the field, we got lucky with the Lomax try had it been on TV it may not have been given.

But we went from awful in the hull game to quite average in the Bradford game - not really the improvement that should be praised IMO.
At Huddersfield we may have been unlucky, but IMO they were just as bad as us in that game so it's hardly (again) something to point out etc.

| Big difference since Royce left? Summed up by Rushy:
"it's hard to be critical when you are asking them to push the ball and take chances"
Playing in the Saints way again, and about time.

I think rush is playing his part in the way we are playing since he and KC took over. I'm good friends with some saints lads and asked them what had changed.
Rush had changed the defensive pattern and gone with one that the players feel much more comfortable.
Also, he's give them a more free role and introduced more options for the halfbacks in the form of runners.
