it annys the rfl are not protecting the players from the chicken wing tackle. a long game ban would sort it out but they are bottlers.

It may have looked it but you cannot say it was.
Again you cannot say it was that incident aswell, but it could've been.
It was worthy of more than a 1 match ban.
Am i defending it? No, just saying that you can't say that it was that incident that caused this injury. |

Its amazing how the medics can pin point this injury. You have a 1 in 47 (collisions) chance of pin pointing this injury.
And thanks for that. I'll do that when you've proven that JJB caused Graham's injury.

I'm not defending JJB's corner or actions or tackling technique. I'm defending the fact that JJB & Seniors tackle on Graham cannot be proven to have caused his injury. |

Whether it was caused by that specific tackle or not, that type of tactic will cause potentially career-threatening injuries. The rotator cuff is very delicate and severe damage can never be fully rectified even with surgery.
If I was in charge, the tactic would carry an automatic 5 match ban, that would soon discourage players/teams from employing it. In fact, the NRL are extremely strict about it, and its about time the RFL followed suit. |
