From what you say, I have the distinct feeling the full ins and outs of Hohaia's retirement have not seen the light of day yet. The official Saints announcement, especially this "St Helens will make no further comment on this matter." seems a little cool. If it is totally about a concussion injury i do not understand why that would be. As others have said, he has to look to his long term health above everything else and I wish him well in what ever it is he decides to do next.

There might be a slant on this that nobody has noticed, as recurrent concussion symptoms are temporary, and should have passed in the 6 months, maybe Lance is aggrieved at the after care he has received from his employers, rather than the incidents leading up to it.
