| Quote: Offside Monkey "The only real concern I have at the moment is that when we take Walmsley and Amor off, it seems to be an opportunity for the opposition to get back into it (probably helped last night by Salford bringing Morley on). Masoe coming back will help, but LMS needs to roll his sleeves up a little, I reckon.'"
Intensity definitely drops off when they're off the pitch, laffranchi can't compete at that level, as you say, the addition of the smiling assassin will definitely help, can't wait to see him next week!

Who's place will Masoe take? We're calling for Lance taking Wello's spot on the other thread, would we drop Boof for Masoe, or would someone like Jones be in danger of losing their spot in the 17?

Ideally I'd drop Boof, but no doubt it'll be Jones

| We've also got Beaumont to add to that pack too, who could replace laffranchi. Difficult to not get carried away after 3 rounds, but I think that is down to us having a few seasons of dire rugby. We seem to be getting back to the style of play we know and love, which is exciting to see. Fingers crossed we can keep the momentum going!
Amor is the new Kevin Ward, Percival is the new Paul Newlove!

| It seemed to me almost like you found it too easy to make yards and break on the edges in the first 20. As a result I thought you got a bit one dimensional for a while just taking it up the guts and playing a bit of one man rugby, like sometimes happens when you play a championship team and after a while everyone wants to have a piece rather than playing how you should be doing. That said this period did coincide with Walmsley and Amor going off so you weren't quite getting the quick play the balls that you got at the start.
All in though I thought it was an impressive performance again. You guys are throwing the gauntlet down. I'm just disappointed we couldn't turn you over last week because the way you are playing it would have been a great scalp for us.

| In my eyes in the opening 15 mins Salford came out with a game plan to get us into a forwards arm-wrestle which we managed to steer our self’s out off.

| Terrific effort in defence last night to nil them, the forwards dominated and our kicking game was spot on. Perhaps not as swashbuckling as the Wire game but no less impressive a team effort. The side is gelling well and we've plenty strength in depth too.

| I think a big mention needs to go to Danny Williams, for the penalty at the PTB towards the end - the groan of despair from Clarke summed it right up. I almost split my sides.

Seems if you are carrying a knock then he will not risk you. Nothing serious with Wheeler. Surely Lance has played himself into the bench spot if nothing else.'"
Crikey, we're gonna have 3 players on the field come August then.

One of the best moments in the game.

I think its more in the offensive we drop off and we lose momentum, franchi and LMS are not too bad in defense and the game goes into a holding one.
We get the icing on the cake next week when The BIG ONE comes off the bench, hope the fans give him a roar when he comes on so that he can steam roller straight away.
