He's also been saints best player for past two years. I really like Sia, he's been a terrific player for saints. Everything he does is 100%. He runs hard, tackles hard but plays fair.
Great player and great guy off the pitch. A great example for any young player.

| Masoe will only be effective if he's used for 10 mins at the end of each half, unless of course he is rail roaded in pre season training.......but I feel you may lose some of his effect on a game if you try to slim him down.
Have to say the two Fijian wingers are fliers, Uate is awesome !!

| I always find it strange how one game can change people's opinions on a player.
Today didnt tell us anything about Masoe that we didn't already know. He is better when used in short spells and his fitness needs to improve. The club know that, and he has publicly acknowledged that he has a lot of work to do fitness wise. Either way, I have no doubt that he will do well for us next year.

I can't see anyone who has changed their opinion of him. I think we all know what we are getting with Mose.

| Masoe will be lethal from 5m and I'll bet there's SL players already not looking forward to colliding with him.
As for Sia Soliola, new found respect for him during this WC, been incredible.

Sia is pretty much like that for saints every single week.

| I think Mose might surprise a few people with his stamina. He's obviously not James Graham, but he quite often put in 35-40 mins for Penrith last season. It does take him time to recover from making a couple of tackles or a hit up, though, so he may be vulnerable to spot sets. For me the benefits significantly outweigh the drawbacks, though.

| Soliola has had a good World Cup on the back of a good season.
Was he near to Saints player of the season or did he get the award?

He was the clear standout, but he was injured for a big chunk (8 weeks springs to mind?).
They gave it to Jordan Turner however, so I think maybe it's just given on the same basis as you get with junior football teams where they give the kid who can't kick the ball a trophy to make him feel good.

Is that the voice of experience talking? How many trophies did you get before you worked that out?

I think he was out for 11 weeks mate.
I thought Wilkin walked our player of the year.
