Are you seriously telling me that England vs Ireland is close to selling our the Huddersfield stadium!?
What's the capacity there - about 24K?
Whilst I hate people being negative about the International game, this level of ticket sales is absolutely remarkable.
How are sales going for the game in Hull? I certainly think of Hull being a real "RL hotbed" and would expect a good turnout there.

It's about time St Helens were given some tickets to sell, not everyone can buy online. The East stand now seems to be unavailable and sales for the rest of the ground aren't going well by the sound of it.

That's probably because nobody knows it's on. Neither Saints nor the Council have done anything to promote it.
Incidentally, people don't have to buy online. People can phone up for tickets as well. |

The match details have been on all the electronic boards round the town & on the linkroad. The problem is that people who aren't r.l. fans just aren't aware the world cup is on at all. The promotion has been shocking. |
