He is scum. I wouldn't say it to his face without reason as I'm a better person than him. He's a ticking timebomb and you know it.

I'd love to say it to his face if he gave me reason to. That's not to say I wouldn't probably end up face down on the pavement, as I undoubtedly would if he took offence. But to say people wouldn't say it to his face isn't true.

Punch ups at the scrum between two forwards have been regular things for as long as Rugby League has been played. There should of been no sending off and both Hock and Scarsbrook should of been sent to the sin bin to cool off.

He didn't do anything today that most players will do at some point in their careers by having a good ruck. He'll obviously get bad press about it due to his past but it won't bother him and he'll be back tormenting defences in a couple of weeks.

Yes he's a hot head and yes he's not the sharpest crayon on the box, but he's a fantastic player. If he wasn't teams wouldn't target him as much as they do. LMS went in with his head to wind him up, Hock reacted and got the better of him. As per the one that retaliates gets the ban - I hope the guys at Red Hall take a good look at that video and deliver the same punishment to LMS that they did to Hock.

You can tell that the Wigan players knew that LMS got away with at as they proceeded to smash him for the rest of the game.

There wasn't a hint of Saints players going out to 'house' the wi*an players. At an ordinary scrum, Hock decided to play head hockey with LMS. When the scrum rises, Hock grabs the back of LMS's head and pulls it into his own. It then all goes off, with Hock lashing punches at LMS. That Magennis put a cheap one into Tuson was, of course, wrong. But that bit of action was secondary after Hock's starting pyrotechnics.

After it all broke up, McIlorum looked like a man possessed, whilst Finch dished out a late crunch on mild-mannered-janitor Shenton.

To try to portray all that as a plot by the Saints coaching pair to needle the wi*an players is sheer bobbins.
