I'd rip anyone's arm off if they offered me 2 or 3 wins and no serious injuries out of those 7 games. Preferably one of them against the Pies... I think 4 wins will be doing very well however.

Still very early in the season to be saying anyone looks outstanding. Warrington and Huddersfield ripped them in, but was that surprising?

We'll only really know when we play them, Huddersfield always start strong and the Wigan match was a surprise, but then look to lastt year and they ripped Warrington up in the first match, still did not tell the tale of the season though did it.

What I'd like to see for our next few games

Hull KR - Saint win, with a fair margin ( they have alot of key players out)
Catalans - Saints win, it maybe tight but we should beat them at home.
Huddersfield - Tough one this, I'd expect it to be tight, but we need our forwards at max to win at huddersfield
Hull - Saints win, Hull are no slouches , but it's alot of new faces and I would hope we are more gelled as a team.
Bradford - Saints win by a fair margin
Leeds - Saints win, but only 6 points in it
Warrington - Tough one to win, but lets hope the jinx is back
Wigan - home win, it just has to be, can't loose the last derby at KR and first one at KR.


I'd expect to loose one, maybe 2 but I would hope no more than 2.

They have all got to be played home and away, bring it on...

Well Catalans win against Cas, but from the sounds of it, it was a tight game with cas taking the lead a few times, so at our own ground hopefully we should be expecting to turn them over next week.

I think Cas held the lead for the whole game bar the last 15. Millward will be a tad disgruntled I should think.

Cas look hit and miss this year, good win at Salford, terrible loss to the bulls at home then great performance in France against a very good Catalan side.

That's certainly one way to view it or another way would be that Catalans are not as good as the players on paper would suggest?

Catalan beat bradford on the opening day and Cas beat salford but it could be that bradford are being the inconsistent team, getting battered in the first half by catalan, then niling cas in their first half. Catalan and Cas could be playing consistently at a similar level where as bradford have been up and down in the first 2 games.

Still even on an up day I can't see them challenging Wigan today.

That was only Catalan second game so they still searching for match fitness and I don't think the hull game being called off helped.

I was thinking that too before the cas game, good eh! Lets hope they take a few more weeks to get up to speed. Did Pryce play yesterday?
