he wont play for saints first team he got a bit of speed thats all he will end up in the lower league for a season or two

A lot of Saints fans seem to get all excited with size or speed. It don't matter how big or fast you are if you can't pass, tackle, beat a man etc.

a lot of its what they hear of other people this lad going to be great and it turns out they are rubbish these two irish lads will be gone in 12 month but worth a try i suppose

you could pick two kids off the street and hope to get lucky if they was 18 year old kids i say ya give them a chance but ones same age as moore and clough and the other is same age as wheeler foster and others

They hope they get lucky and get one or two good players on the cheap.

Brian Carney was a premium rugby league player, good enough to star in the NRL despite him being a nobody in his 20s when he was signed up to league.

If either are half as successful we'll have done well.

They will have the basic core skills of passing and tackling as they have played rugby union to a reasonable level.If they will make it or not remains to be seen but its worth a try.

I've got no problem at all with these signings. Obviously it's a bit of an experiment, but it won't be costing us much money. The worst case scenario is that we'll end up helping out Irish RL, and if we're lucky we might get a decent squad member.

Best case scenario is they could both be world class in league. Some people on here are so negative.
