| Have we any news how the boys have got on today?
Looking forward to going to watching them when time allows, looks like we have some very promising juniors.

| Both teams won, however the U15's struggled. 2 new players have been signed this week in Dan Abram (Sale) and Will Weir (Warrington).
Our U16's won 50 - 4 following on from their 48-0 win last week.
Ill write the reports soon.

| Ill do the U15 later as i'm confused about the scoreline was a very sloppy game.
St Helens U16 50 - 4 Crusaders U16
1. Ben Roberts
2. Olly Yates
3. Matthew Gee
4. Ben Parry
5. Danny Carney
6. Chris Carr
7. Jordan Heaton
8. Jonny Griffiths
9. Tom Roughley
10. Greg Richards
11. Mathew Wood
12. Luke Thompson
13. Andre Savelio
14. Jack White
15. Jack Grice
16. Mike Scott
17. Jamie Martlew
18. Matthew Fozzard
Try Scorers - Savelio 2, Thompson 2, Yates, Carr, Heaton, Scott, Fozzard
Goals - Carr 3, Roughley 2, Heaton, Fozzard
M.O.M - Luke Thompson
Saints forwards absolutely batterd the Crusaders in both defence and attack. Luke Thompson was awesome, he is a massive unit who runs good lines and is extremly fast for the lads size. Andre Savelio was his usual destructive self with the ball and the half back pairing of Heaton and Carr did well. Was also very impressed with Matty Gee who played for the first time at this level. Saints where missing the very talented duo of Lewis Galbraith and Lewis Charnock because of injury.
Excellent win lads.

Just for info Matty Gee is Jonny Lomax's cousin.

Yes, I think he was. He's a good lad, when he goes through a gap he doesn't get caught.

How were the 4 (Martin Davies) and 5 (Adam Green) for Crusaders? Both impressed in a well beaten side v Wigan last week.

| The U15s did struggle - particularly 1st half when they were losing 16-14 until the last play of the half when they scored (18-16). 2nd half was better and I made the final score 38-24.

| St Helens U15 38 - 24 Crusaders U16
1. Adam Saunders
2. Deon Cross
3. Matthew Whitley
4. Will Weir
5. Alex Porter
6. Daniel Abram
7. Josh Wood
8. Rob Harmon
9. Josh Crehan
10. Oliver Davies
11. Kane Ditchfield
12. Josh Swift
13. Joe Ryan
14. Tom Davies
15. Connor Smith
16. Robbie Hand
17. Scott oakes
18. Ryan Connelly
Try Scorers - Saunders 3, Cross 2, Porter, Oakes, Whitley
Goals - Davies, Connelly, Smith
M.O.M - Adam Saunders
Very scrappy game for Saints still missing the excellent David Hewitt because of injury and Dom Elkin and Jed Mawdsley because of Saddleworth reaching the Oldham final. Rob Harmon and Oliver Davies provided the hard yards while Adam Saunders was excellent at the back, slotting into the line in attack and looking very fast and skillfull. Lots of improvement needed if we're to beat Widnes at Thatto Heath on Saturday.

| Didn't see much of the under 15's game, but the 16's looked pretty good in attack and defence. One try conceeded in two games and close to a hundred points scored. Keep it up lads.

| Quote: betting mad "With Greg Richards coming from Cumbria and now playing for Chorley Panthers does that mean we have some arrangement with them ? Wold have thought they would have been in the Wigan Service Area ???'"
Chorley Panthers fall within the Lancashire Service Area. It's a bit misleading as it covers teams from Leyland, Chorley, Blackpool, Heysham and West Craven (these were the only teams involved when I was coaching - maybe Accrington now, if they have a junior setup).
