Rogues is just referring to Royce Simmons' article on the Saints website. Nothing to argue with.

Roby is like a machine and is world class

I honestly hadn't seen it. As I said it was someone from inside the game who told me.

Getting him signing a 4 year deal was a brilliant piece of buisness, definately the best hooker in SPL by a long way.

That was easy though because he wanted to stay at Saints, and knew he wanted to stay at Saints, and said so.

my brother who went with me today said the same thing, he'd walk into most nrl sides, he'd be a stand out player for melbourne if brett finch was getting in their team every week, im pretty sure i could make the bench for them on that basis, makes scott moore's kicking game look decent, which is saying something.

From a very good source btw.'"
You need a heart to perform well on a Running machine.

| The 2nd half tries today were like Saints of 3-4 years back. I was actually excited for the 1st time in a long time - we were very good to watch.
The team suddenly has some pace and with Hohia to come in we could be a great team in 2012 if we can keep the pack beefed up enough

| Quote: Phil-P "Was Lomax who kicked the ball - Saints problem was too many young heads and not enough experience in a big match like that. I said to my old man when it was 24-22 we should give away a penalty right in front of the posts - not saying Wigan would have gone for goal but if they had there was always a chance of the scores staying 24-24. As it was Saints defended like they did for the last 5 minutes and it was no surprise Wigan scored. Great effort though from both teams and nice to see a referee allowing both sides to play and produce a spectacle which confirmed once again that Saints Vs Wigan is THE derby in British rugby league.'"
Spot on mate!

| As a 'neutral' who wanted Saints to win, I was disappointed that they didn't close the game down once they regained the lead.
Wigan got out of jail. But only thanks to Saints not playing smart rugby at the end.
But of course that is easier said than done.

| Great effort from you guys on what was effectively your cup final this year. Wigan were well an truely undercooked and when they ramped up the intensity for 10 minutes they ripped you to pieces I remember something similar for our cup final back when we were garbage good Friday 2005.
Excellent turnout for you lot too, you'd hope that other smaller clubs like Salford and Huddersfield would start bringing that many away fans.

| I was impressed with the way saints played yesterday. I thought Simmons would struggle coming to a team which has just lost KC, injuries to key players, eastmond disruption, etc but he seems to have you playing the best rugby i've seen from a saints team for at least a couple of years.
It will be interesting to see how you move on from this loss though - is it a case of everyone getting up for a big game or can you play at that level every week?

We could play at that level every week - we certainly played at the same level against Wakey last week and followed that up with our efforts against Wigan this week - but what will ruin us on Monday is that we now can't field a first team. We have to dip into our untried reserve team. So no matter how well our first team can play - and they can play well - about two thirds of them will be missing on Monday.
