Yes I did support St Helens as a kid, but as became more involved with rugby league I got to see the truth, I like many others attempted to bring around changes but no the St Helens Board would never change so I just supported my football team home and away West Ham, then with expansion of rugby league I decided to throw my hat in, support and sponsor them!
Poyser11 you may also mock, look at your own club currently in it's season at Widnes and attendances? how well was that planned by Big Mac the man who must never be questioned? lose a few matches and how easy even at the end of last season some sections of the then Knowsley Road crowd gave some real stick to players, are they real supporters, No! give a little credit to those in our game who stick through thick and thin! you may be laughing now, wonder if you will always laugh?'"
Big Mac is obviously doing a better job than whoever was in charge of Fulham RL

No true supporter could change allegiance, regardless of how a board of directors behaves. It's like me jumping ship and supporting Wigan (I feel dirty even typing that). I have far more respect for Rogues and his ilk because even though he talks total bobbins half the time he is at least a true supporter of his team (i'd even include clowns like Nikos in that sentance). Rugby league is a sport - it isnt an episode of the xfiles, what would you want the Saints board to change? What truth was so disturbing that could turn you away from supporting your hometown club? I'm not even gonna go there with the football thing and west ham .. I think your one of these attention seeker types who just wants to be seen as 'different' when in reality your just the same as everyone else.

Well how you come to compare Ron Close the then owner of Fulham RL with Big Mac I am not sure?? but what I do know is that our current chairman has invested much more into the game in London than Big Mac! has in St Helens

That is your opinion and I respect it if a little dramatic!
Though what you say about writing the name Wigan does amuse me. that in fact seems really petty to me and sums up the real parochial attitude of some Northern RL supporters something I always thought was more Yorkshire prevalent?
Hundreds of thousands of football fans travel the UK supporting clubs not in their area more so Manchester United fans from London.
IF you knew me more personally you would find or see the "attention seeking" comment to be a pure joke, if i had ever wanted that I could do it many better ways, all I am doing is expressing a personal opinion and how I made my own choice of the club I support and follow which I am not ashamed of, but all the time the Game of Rugby League comes first!

Your point is?
Perhaps show the stand when the game was in progress.

Who cares? For most of the match we were making a great noise. Couldn't hear those two bus loads of Bradford speccies all night!

| I don't see the big deal about how big are crowds are while playing at Widnes. Everyone knew we wasn't going to get good crowds there in the first place.
It seems obvious nobody at saints likes playing there, the fans don't feel at home, the players don't seem to like it but we've just go to get on with it.
It's not ideal and IMO is a mistake by saints that we have to play a full season away from home. I can't recall any other sports team having to play a full season away from while there new stadium is built and could cost us this year.
The is nothing anyone can do but just accept for one year we will be in stinky Widnes.

18821_1298880800.jpg
I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.
Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.
Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.
Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666
0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".
Therefore ZERO.
