| Let's get things in perspective here...
The only thing that was borderline was his tone, or the manner in what he said. The only word I saw him shout was "dominent".
IMHO, the penalty was a farce too. Alibert clearly shouts domintent on Graham's tackle, which it was - he then penalises for holding down, despite the dominent call allowing for a few extra seconds in the ruck. That was why Graham was so angry, because the referee got it wrong.
If he had run up to Alibert, or had he swore at him as a result of the decision, then yes, he should go for 10 mins, or Saints should be marched 10m further back.
He didn't - I personally feel that Graham conducts himself right on the edge, and I hope he doesn't go over that line as it will result in far more penalites and metres being conceded.
Also - Alibert is the most inept referee I have ever seen .

But that doesn't change the fact that he should have kept quiet. He could have been binned or sent off even and then where would the team have been? I know Jammer wouldn't want to put the game in jeopardy. He really does need to control his temper.
Oh, and there were a number of utterly bewildering decisions during that match.

| James Graham criticisms for his talking back to hallibert should come at the end of a very long line of players before him. Whilst he was wrong, every single error he makes is picked out by opposing fans and pundits. It comes from being one of the best props in the world. All the bets players in England get over vocal when the adrenalin is at its highest. Up to the ref...if he wants to deal with it he can, and if not then he has to put up with it. Ganson wouldn't have allowed it to happen, he keeps the lads in check as the game progresses.

| Rubbish ,James Graham should have kept his mouth shut no matter how annoyed he was at the Ref, we dont want Football type rantings at the reffs like we see in there game, footballers are overpaid prima donners that act like kids when things dont go there way,and i for one dont want that in our game.

He should, I think everyone agrees. However, he was penalised and will learn from his mistakes - he probably feels lucky he wasn't sin binned. Had there been a stronger ref, he may well of been.
Dissent happens in rugby and always has (anyone remember Gary Schofield getting sent off for it against us at Headingly once?), but its the fact its not accepted by anyone in the game that keeps it penned to the minimum. We are, and always will be (unless they improve) miles ahead of the chavvy wendyballers and their whinging.
I say, dissaprove of the incedent, but don't read too much into it.

| I think it is creeping in, but it's down to the refs to cut it out. Alibert should have held the game up until Graham had gone over to him. As others have said, Ganson would not had stood for that, and even if he hadn't been binned (he didn't swear or abuse the ref personally) he'd have had a word.
One other thing I've noticed creeping into the game I've been reminded of after rewatching the match is diving, and this should be stamped out quickly. Myler takes two or three dives in that match. Goes down when he feels Ashurst's had on his shoulder early on and gets a penalty (poss the second one of the match), he then does it again near the end but gets nothing. There was another dive in the second half (but can't remember whether it was Myler or Briers) when the player is told to get up.

| It was Myler again. Tried to get one of our guys (Flannery maybe?) done for tripping.

| Did nobody hear Graham 'politely' asking the ref to move when we were defending on our line? He could have been sent off for that too.

| Quote: Ski "Jammer reminds me of Wayne Rooney in this respect.
He puts his heart right into the moment, into every collision and into every second over every match. He is a true battlefield leader.
However, he needs to learn a trick to stop him mouthing off in the heat of the moment, be it stop, count to five, or just bottle it up and unload on the next guy.
Potter has done well to tame him thus far, before he goes, I hope he just knocks off this last superfluous bump.'"
Don't ever mention that fat(very good player) knob in the same breath as the white pele. I love Jammer as a player but what a classless individual.

I don't give a rats ass if any our players give the ref hell, it shows passion & will to win.
Like Kyle earlier in the season, give em hell boys.
Especially Ian Smith.'"
What a Prat!!!!!
Lets teach our kids its ok to swear at the ref and show no respect.
A child or an amateur would have been given 8 match ban for this with no chance of appeal.
Why should Superleague be different???
They are paid to provide good family entertainment.
I really rate James Graham but there is no place for this in Rugby League.
REMEMBER THE RESPECT CAMPAIGN

| James Graham = fabulous player, but total and utter house and a dreadful sportsman. His attitude is an absolute disgrace at times.
He's your Terry Newton.

Rubbish. 99% of players have respect for authority. Graham has not yet played a match where he has not acted like a big baby when things aren't going his way.
He was obviously picked on as a kid.
