The Crusaders game is the decider for me. If we don't win by a cricket score (unlikely) then it's Dire for 2nd spot, unless they win the CC and then follow up with a hangover defeat against Quins.

Due to the "unique" way the RFL is run, if we're tied on point difference, unlike almost every other sport that goes with points scored, effectively the rfl go with least points conceded, due to a ridiculous equation that promotes low scoring games

Not so much with this wrestling tackling we have now, defences are nearly always set meaning attack does need much more structure and skill to break them down.
While I would love us to keep teams to 10pts or less every week and you can't win anything without good defence, the point of our game is to score tries so surely that is what should be considered. |
