Thanks to a seriously dodgy decision in our favour and two occasions when the ball bounced the wrong way in their possession en route to their tryline. Let's be honest here, we were lucky to get that win. Hopefully our form will be better - or even if we just stopped giving away penalties and silly handling errors that would make a huge difference. But I still would have preferred Blackpool, for the sake of my nerves.'"
If we are going to start considering Harlequins a 'bad draw' then we may as well quit the competition completely.

It's all relative.
Blackpool would have been better.

I just thought I'd quote you again and wonder whether you are thinking twice about what you said now that Quins have beaten Wigan?
I maintain: it's not an easy draw and I wish we were going to Blackpool.

No, not at all. I will retort by stating, once again, that we beat them. If we start to consider the bottom club a hard draw, then we should quit the competition all together.
What does beating Wigan prove? They struggled for long periods against Sheffield and Salford, and are obviously suffering a dip in form, as was always going to happen at some point.

It proves that Quins are capable now of putting a match together to such a degree that they can turn a 24-6 halftime deficit into a 26-38 win. Wigan struggled against us, but they won; Wigan struggled against Wire, but they won. Wigan struggled against Quins, but they lost. The common factor there is the ability of the opposition to beat Wigan and not that Wigan have suffered a dip in form. We did not beat Wigan, nor did Salford and nor did Sheffield. But Quins did. If you aren't just a teensy weensy bit concerned about that, given that we have yet to actually hit anything so recognisable as form, then I would like what you are on, please.

I'm 'on' the fact that we beat them last week with a depleted squad. I'm not concerned in the slightest.
