I didn't think Sinfield was that good tbh, he certainly didn't match his performance in the match at the JJB. His passes were wayward more than any other player on the pitch and when he moved to first receiver he slowed everything down.

He's too slow at half back and doesn't have the power game for the pack when his guile doesn't work (both Sculthorpe and Farrell had both aspects). He's effective at SL level, very effective at times, but lacks that extra for international level. A problem that Wilkin has too (a player who is very similar, but has less responsibility to control the game at Saints).

As for McGuire, he may have more success when played in a traditional combination, I'm not sure that this split half back set up suits him at this higher level. He may be better in a more roving role Like Pryce has played for us, trying to find the gap.

I suppose its the wrong time to say I thought throwing Sinfield back in at dummy half lost us the game........

I have already said graham at times has looked awesome! He's also look knackered at times but that's the effort of the bloke. he would walk into any team in the world.

James Graham is the worlds best prop and how Leeds fans had the cheek to comapre him with Ryan Bailey last season, is an absolute insult to the man.

Off-thread, Tomkins/Eastmond may have been relatively quiet against a half back pairing with more International caps than They have SL games under their belt, but is that really so surprising? They aren't going to rip it up every game at their age and experience! However neither let us down and either could have had a hat-trick in a game in which they were quiet. Speaks volumes really, doesn't it!

On-thread, Graham needs a rest. He's carried the Saints pack last season, probably played more game time than any other prop in SL and has just performed to the highest level in the International series. We've all seen what too much game time/constant rugby can do with Fielden. We can ill afford to lose another top performer to burnout.

ryan bailey frustrates 99% of Leeds fans and for us who watch him week in week out at his best bailey could/should be a gb/England regular! And he does play like that more than you lot would like to believe but not as much as us Leeds fans want! But at his worst he's lucky not to have his contract torn up!

I really rate graham but he's not the worlds best prop! Top five yes number 1 no!
