Saints whole approach over last few years has been to give youngsters the path through to the first team.

I agree. Myler hasn't really proved himself. When his pack is beaten, he has been shown up to be fairly poor, just when salford need some inspiration. Given a good pack he will be good, so should do well at wire behind Morley and Carvell etc.

Can't see us being in the running for Myler unless we could get him on the cheap. Sounds like someone is prepared to pay over the odds for him though if he's turned down Salford's new contract offer.

Myler is certainly a big fish in a small pond. And the problem with such is Danny Orr Syndrome.
