I have to say I am disappointed with Leeds, they always used to be such a ball playing side, but it seems since Tony Smith went they have become a dirty side.

There were far too many bad tackles in that game and it was clearly a tactic to try to rattle Saints. Which almost worked I add.

Rules state it does not have to be intentional, and that was always interpreted as the onus been on a tackling player to keep the tackle below/on the shoulder. This seems to have been forgotten here. Any 6-7foot player will now be shoulder charge tackling players without regard for safety.

Crazy decision by the RFL. Players must be protected for the good of the modern game.

I remember, as an example, Scully pounding into Spud Carrol with a shoulder charge. After the initial impact, they clashed heads and Carrol's eye split wide open. Its just one of those things that can happen with that type of impact, that's (possibly) why they banned it in Rugby union. Surely you don't want to go the same way as those nancy boys?
