I do think his poor body language had a negative effect on the other players.

exactly - he simply didnt look interested - he trotted around pointing alot and then really didnt impose himself on the game. In my time watching saints ive seen some poor performances from halfbacks with far far less ability than Kyle but it's a long time since I've seen a less commitd player in the Red V. The lad clearly believes all his own hype, I honestly wish he'd just leave and free us up the cap room.

We played some shocking and very predictable rugby league,
same moves every 6 tackles..we need to learn some new tactics and need to stop the ball being offloaded....how many times does this have to happen before we stop it!!

Eastmond should be ashamed of himself for not showing his support to the club that made him what he is today.......

I don't blame him at all for walking off. I wouldn't walk over to a couple of thousand braindead fools who wanted to call me names either.

Some of the fans behaviour tonight was appalling. Why continue the Monaghan stuff when he's winning 24-0? It makes you look very silly. And shouting abuse at Kyle is pathetic as well. He is not from St Helens and hasn't done anything wrong. He's considering an offer for more money. If a company offered me more money I know what I would do...

Maybe not. What you can blame Eastmond for is standing 5 yards behind the play. Failing to guide the team around the park, or creating any space like a good Scrum Half should do. His attitude and lack of respect towards other players when making errors, brought about by his disinterested pass in the 1st place. His lack of respect to the fans at the end of the game. Infact his total and utter lack of interest in the game. The sum of his efforts was to shift the ball on whenever he could, push people in at 1st receiver so he didn't have to be there and occasionally throw a stupid drop off ball getting someone killed. If he wants to go to Bath, I will gladly drive him there tonight.

I would thank the company I worked for and which paid my mortgage for years before leaving with dignity and a bit of pride as a leader in any position should do wether it be in everyday life or sport...I mean what a good rolemodel for the kids growing up watching our sport.....and my daughter thought he was great!! How wrong she now feels!!

He should be bloody ashamed and you should too for even contemplating that he was not in the wrong for coming over to the fans!

A lot of people use this analogy. It falls down in that.
1) you are insulting your own team's support and then not referring to them in your business anology. They don't really fit into it.
The supporters don't need to maintain a business relationship with Kyle. They have paid their money for many years to see him perform. They have a right to be ed.

2) and most important. Kyle has been with Sts since he was 13. Costing them a lot of money and he hasn't given them anything... at all. Now after the chance Sts gave him he is leaving without even a thank you to the fans.

As Someone mentioned, he played like a robot, he had no creativity, when he broke through, he was weaving and ducking and wriggling through players, i felt he was trying to preserve himself, which in my eyes is being a coward. For me i'll always see him as a judas and a piece of scum if he leaves for union now.
If it was Jammer leaving tomorrow, i'd be disappointed, but thoroughly understand, same applied with Roby, ambitious and after achieving everything possible in this country, wants to improve, but i think Jammer will stay regardless, it's just the manner of Kyle's inevitable exit, which makes me sad.
