On a positive note, the more poor performances he keeps churning out the closer he is to having a good game, so which team do you want it to be against Wakefield, Leeds, Warrington or Huddersfield.

Whilst I understand (and share) the frustrations, I've certainly seen Lance have back to back poor games without the excuse of a prolonged absence from the first team. Plus, Lance has had the benefit of playing 6 alongside Walsh (or at least Wilkin), Wheeler appears to be being asked to play scrum half with Turner at 6!
Asking Wheeler to play 7 to Turner's 6 is not how we should be going. We need to bring in someone who can be a steady eddie and kick from 7 (Charnock looking the most obvious), with either Swift or Wheeler playing 6 and Turner back in the cerntres where he belongs.

Lance got panned for his first 2 years, so he hardly got off scott free.
Even with Walsh out the team this year, he has been decent. ( I would not go further than that)
