He's certainly white enough to be one.

| No room for biting in rugby. I love jammer but they should punish him for that.
However, unless they have clear footage then they can't do anything

Well, I suppose Slater's ear could have jammed itself into Graham's mouth and someone else pushed his jaws together.
That or remote alien mind control experiments...

| Quote The Chief="The Chief"Didn't say he had a track record for biting - my reference about his track record relate to his reputation as a cheap shot merchant. Talk to any SL player outside of Leeds and ask them who is the most despised pro RL player, and you will get your answer. Graham was out of order if he is found guilty, which looks likely, but don't come on here painting bailey out to be some kind on model professional.
Two words, prison sentence. That wasn't grubby or untoward was it?'"
Got any straw left for construction purposes? I haven't painted Bailey as a model professional at all. In fact I don't particularly rate him as highly as many Leeds fans do. Doesn't put in the hits or make sufficient meters for my liking. Very good at the niggly stuff and getting under opposition players skin though. Just ask the incessantly whining John Wilkin and he'll confirm that.
I simply asked you to provide evidence of Bailey's track record on untoward behaviour such as biting. You chose to make an example of him as having a clear track record of having indulged in similar - if not worse - and then by association, placed him on a par with Hock (gouging). Now I'm quite sure that Bailey has no clear track record of ever biting or gouging any other player on the pitch - unlike Hock - or as will become apparent fairly soon in the case of Graham.
Your belated two word reference to Bailey's teenage spell in a youth offenders unit for street brawling outside a nightclub alongside three other players dishing it out among themselves is further evidence of your desperate argument.
Your presentation at Lancashire CCC prior to last years GF was more impressive than what you've presented here. Hope you enjoyed your free ticket and goody bag

I'd love to know what caused it. The clip they found had no context to it at all. Why were they in that position in the first place? What had Slater done to cause the rage he obviously had?
The injury isn't evidence, in fact it looks like a nail injury as they've got super close up shots and the wound is semi circular at first, then gets worse as the bruising comes through.
I, like you, think Graham did probably bite him, but I wouldn't put it past Slater, Melbourne or Bellamy for that injury to be self inflicted. It's incredibly easy to make your own ear bleed, pinch it and twist. Sounds far fetched? I wouldn't put it past them, they were responsible for the chicken wing, the ninja tackle, snapping the pole (Trying to injure the ball carrier by needlessly attacking the knee joints, something Maguire brought to Wigan with him) and running two sets of books to cheat the cap. They make Wigan seem positively good sports. The whole 'fight' seemed manufactured to me, they were definitely looking to get a Bulldog sent off.

What has any of this got to do with Wigan, Bellamy or maquire?
And how Melbourne manufactured the fight is as fantastically brilliant as you being the only person to see slater injure his own ear from the other side of the planet when none of the 80'000 people or the cameras at the ground did

I've now seen the footage and I don't see Slater's ear going in to Jammer's mouth. I see Jammer's mouth in the vicinity of Slater's ear though but that's as much as the footage actually shows.
Given the gravity of the charge, there should be nothing less than absolute proof that he actually bit Slater's ear rather than assuming he did just because his mouth was in the vicinity. He could have been giving Slater a tirade of abuse in scouse for all we know.

There is nothing to get over. Unlike some people who presumably in the days of hanging would be salivating at the thought of watching someone's neck being stretched, I prefer to see proof of something before finding a person guilty.
