Nat Wood was the instigator for the blackpool fancy dress party that led to the betting scandal. It wasnt a saint who casued this fuss, its clearly Nat Wood and his bad ways. Nat was 60 seconds from signing for saints, in a swap plus cash for Longy going the other way. The reason it didnt go ahead was due to Nat and his antics on the fatefull blackpool trip. Hence he went back home to OZ in disgrace.

We know Longy isn't the brightest spark, but from the exerts I've read from this book it sounds stupidly hilarious. Back in his younger days, there is no doubt he was a 'wild child' to say the least.
