We need to have Jones back at centre or Percival and we need to play for the full 80 - If we give the goons a 20 point start the game will be over before half time. If we play as we know we can we will win. We know what the goons are like , Apeman will have them frothing at the mouth when they come out and they'll just try and out muscle us and grind us down , we need to match them intensity wise then we will earn the right to play them off the park

In all seriousness the Wigan game has got disaster written all over it. Although we've somehow maintained the run of victories, the performances have been tailing off alarmingly. Any of that against Wigan and they will destroy us.

The biggest thing next week is matching their aggression and physicality. That is what has won them the majority of the recent derbies.

Don't really get your meaning behind this, they are level on points with Wigan with a game today (which they on paper should win) Widnes are so far one of the surprise sides this year along with Castleford, who you only just beat... and it wasn't very convincing. Think your 'win streak' is getting to thy head. This coming week will be tougher than your expecting. Be humble in your current success, because the trolls really will be out if you loose your next two.

We have our own permanent troll in Saddened so we are well used to it. Saddened have you backed us to win one match so far???

Warrington Leeds Wakey I recall were all predicted losses. I seem to recall you backed Hull too. You bookies must be overjoyed when you turn up this year.

With regards to Wigan, Percival will be lucky to walk back into the team with Jones' performance last night. I would think Widnes will be a more likely match for Percival and Dawson to come back into the side.

For sure they will come out aggressive as they always do against and try and bully us. I'd go with Amor and walmsley starting front row to try and stop them over powering us and hope to get some go forward off the back of those two. We have to start well!

It's certainly going to be a cracker! We need to improve a hell of a lot from what we have served up in recent weeks (Wakey, hudds and cas)! We found ways to win but we're shocking in parts of those games.

I think complacency/ over confidence may have creeped In!

My worry for the wigan game is matching their aggression. We can't afford any injuries or suspensions given that we play leeds in a massive game the week after so this could affect how much aggression we use against wigan.

If we play for the full 80 with aggression then I can't see anything other than a saints win.

Let's hope we find them few more gears as we certainly haven't hit top form yet!

I don't think we have been as poor as people have made out. You have to give credit to the other sides too.

Cas last night came out as though it was a final. It's something as RL fans we go on and on about. The NRL having that week in week out intensity. Well at the moment whilst the rest of the league may not have that week in week out intensity. Saints and the opposition are providing this. Whether they are stepping up their game for us, or it just so happens that we are catching teams on a good week, they are certainly providing us with a stiff test, which will only benefit us in the long run.

In the last 3 weeks we've played 1st vs 2nd twice and last years league leaders. They're of course going to do things to interrupt our patterns and not let us play the way we want to. We've had as hard a run as any, playing teams in form (when we played Wakefield they were rolling off two 50 point wins) - and we've come through each test so far.

We have made things harder for ourselves at times (the first 60 seconds of last night, for example!) and I don't think we've strung a full 80minute performance together yet, but until august it's about stating intent, and we've certainly done that so far!

No team can be on top form week in week out, but it's certain we'll require to front up from the off next Friday. If our pack get at least parity with their Wigan counterparts I'd expect our backs to win us the match.

Goons are not playing all that well at the moment, its only Matt Bowen whose playing with any form these last couple of games.

Did anyone else notice Walmsley up end a Cas player during the game? I can't remember who it was but he hurt his shoulder and his legs were definitely lifted above the horizontal. I'm hoping he doesn't get a ban for the Wigan game.

Maybe I'm being paranoid but this season I have no idea when someone has done something worthy of a ban.

Bowen should be easy to deal with defensively as he doesn't have the 'slippery eel' effect like Tomkins had. Tomkins struggled against the top sides and bowen is no different so far.

Leeds set the bench mark on how to defend against wigan (umbrella style defence) and we need to do something similar in Friday.
