| Lauaki is terrible. He's like having two Gareth Hocks in the same pack. If Maguire and his 'alleyway' tactics were still around, Sky would need to start Wigan games after the watershed.
I can't wait to hear Rogues come on and tell us how brilliant the two of them have been this season.

| I don't think we are capable of playing in such a tense tight game like tonight. We'd crumble with the pressure and leak points.

I totally agree.
As for Lauaki, the weakness of Silverdud amazes me. How can a referee give two on report calls to one player in one game? If he's had one on report call - an indication surely that he's done something at least possibly worth a ban - then to do another is surely a guarantee of a red card? Something needs to be done to give the refs some balls. They seem to have lost them somewhere.
It was a pacey match but chock full of errors.

It was a brilliant game. Did you see the period with about 10 to go where Wigan were smashing Wire on their own line, giving them no room with some superb defending. Two absolutely sensational 40 yard passes to the right later Warrington were breaking down the right wing. We're not in their league if they play like that against us. The best we can hope for is to make it as low key as it possibly can be and hope the errors mount for them. We can't go toe to toe with either of those sides without being KO'd.

That sounds like a Royce Simmons tactic.

We haven't got them ten mins spells where we smash teams anymore like we've had in the past.

| they usually are nice lads across the board. At this level of RL theres no prizes for being the stupid hard man, you can just become a liability if the aggression isnt channelled correctly. Much rather have a player who grafts without the stupidity. luaki will know exactly how stupid he was, he was the difference tonight.
otherwise I think you are doing your side a disservice. Your pack need to adapt to the loss of FGB but you still have some classy players who can raise their game and you wont be far away come the playoffs

I do hope he's not banned for Good Friday. He's probably our best chance.

i hope we dont go for the two for the rest of season...hate it, i know at times it is needed but im sick of having a team on the line there for the taking and jonny wilkinson runs on with a kicking tee.
we are st.helens we need to start playing like it again, quick tap or get that bugger into the corner and play some footy, the stick we gave the bradford dulls for it and now we are now just as bad!!
rant over

| Two teams running hot. Thought Wigan presented a greater attacking threat. But youth is no match for experience in tight games.
Noticeable that Wigan & Warrington not only play with great pace, they [ipossess it[/i in spades. Which is why we stand virtually no chance in a shootout where defences on both sides are weak. For every try we score they would score three.
We either keep it tight or we keep it up near a cricket score.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |
