If Eastmond goes on a free at the end of the RL season (Oct 2011) he will probably not be ready to play Union until early 2012 at the most optimistic. So Bath or wherever will not get anything back for their investment probably till the start of the 2012/2013 Union season.

That would appear to be good grounds for a transfer now for all parties with suitable re-investment of said funds in the Saints squad in terms of Transfer fee and Eastmonds wages.

To me he is as good as gone now, I really don't think he will stay and if this is so and Bath want him now will they have to pay us a fee plus the remainder of his contract? As if he is to go I think we should try and keep him untill the end of the season while we scout our options for a replacement

they'd most likely leak they haven't got him. Why would they make there fans wait for disappointment. The hold us most likely about $£$£$£$£.

I'm not sure. But only because he said he was '100%' going to make up his mind last week, yet it would seem he hasn't if Simmons has had to have such a chat with him. I suppose time will tell.

He may well have made his mind up, we just dont know. From his two performances this season, i really cant see anything to suggest he isnt committed though!
