You are probably right, it does look like he's off, but Bath have signed another player in the same position as Hape already.

No, he didn't. He said he'd make his decision last week, the lack of official word leads us to believe that a) he's still having difficulty making his decision or b) things are taking time to happen behind the scenes with contract negotiations etc. |

Nope - not option C for me. If Kyle had signed an agreement with Union - be it Bath or Sale - the rugby union lot would have made sure by now that it was 'leaked' to the press. For me option A is the most likely - he hasn't decided what he wants to do.

more like his agent is negotiating (wheeler dealing) to get his client a bigger wedge which means a bigger share for the agent - i'm afraid it's all about dosh and not love for one team or another - why would anyone blame him ?

Having been away for several weeks I have not had chance to trawl through this whole thread so dont scream if this has already been covered.
If Eastmond goes on a free at the end of the RL season (Oct 2011) he will probably not be ready to play Union until early 2012 at the most optimistic. So Bath or wherever will not get anything back for their investment probably till the start of the 2012/2013 Union season.
That would appear to be good grounds for a transfer now for all parties with suitable re-investment of said funds in the Saints squad in terms of Transfer fee and Eastmonds wages.
