Look we are a gracious club, we like helping out teams that do not have the suitable stadia available for cup ties. If Wigan can't fufill the fixture at their home venue, then just as we did for Oldham, I'm sure we can come to some arrangement for the CC quarter final.

Surely Mr Whelan wont throw away such a big payday for his stadium?, they'll be over 20k paying people willing to throw money at him!

I doubt they would. After all, this is Wigan's fixture and therefore Wigan should pay for any neutral ground. Saints should get their full gate share.

All banter aside, it'll be a reall shame if this is moved. It should be the main game on Saturday or Sunday.

That saind, i'm working that weekend, so Friday night would be much better for me personally!

Well as the missus has booked up the whole of that weekend so I'm on Dad duty. The eldest could probably handle the match but at 18months the youngest will just want to join in the game. So what ever day or night it is, it's going to be a TV game for me. Or maybe radio, if we are out and about.

Surely this is an issue that Wigan should be able to sort because was the lease not written prior to Latics being in the premiership.

I would like Wigan to be kicked out the cup for failing to meet their obligations to stage the game at home.

Hopefully the penny will finally drop with them Wiganers, that they they don't even own a ground.
