| Quote: Rogues Gallery "Do you mean his massive 35 metres and six tackles. Have a word with yourself.
Savellio was by far the better player last night.
And all this crap about Saints dominating the game.
Well here are the facts, despite having the majority of the ball, they actually only made 39 metres more than Wigan in the game. Wigan gifted Saints the game with the errors, the majority unforced, fair play to Saints for taking advantage, but those errors meant that Wigan had to make 110 more tackles in the game.
Any chance that you can do your Fat Ape coach a favour and show us the stats that back up his moronic and discourteous statement that said "If Flower had stayed on the field then we would have won by 30"?
I hope that we meet your pappy side in the GF rather than meeting either of the Wolves or Rhinos who would IMO clearly cause us more problems than a side containing even a Ben Flower inspired Wigan side with a 30 points start (Odds courtesy of fatapeodds.com)

We're the team to beat. Wigan won't look forward to playing us again this season because our forwards constantly make dents in them. Add in our 1st choice starting back rowers, Walsh and Makinson and we've got alot to be excited about.

You are the team to beat, but I don't recall your forwards making as much of an impact as you say on Good Friday. They had a great night last night but it [icould[/i be another story next time.

How can we beat ourselves? The has to be another team to beat as a final in between two sides isn't it ?
My point - if we are to win at old trafford again we will have to beat Wigan as I think they will make the final again.

| I read it as you thought Wigan were the team to beat. If that's not what you meant fair enough.
I agree that its most likely Wigan will be the ones who will stand in our eay though, possibly Leeds and I wouldn't rule Wire out yet.
As for Good Friday, our forwards made plenty of dents in Wigan defence that day too we just didn't have the halves to score the points or to create enough problems.

Cool, I did mean if we are to win at old Trafford we will prob have to beat them. Id rather us play leeds at old Trafford if we get there and dish out some revenge

| There is very little between Wigan, Saints and Leeds this year. Any of those sides can beat each other, so predicting cup winners/ Grand Final winners is almost impossible. I have no doubt that we can beat either Wigan or Leeds in a Grand Final, but they could turn us over too.
The side finishing top this year has a huge advantage IMO. If we can get 1st place, Leeds and Wigan would have a much tougher semi-final than we would. The same would apply to Leeds or Wigan if they finish 1st. And if we do get 1st place and can't beat Huddersfield/Warrington/Castleford in a home semi-final then we don't deserve to get to Old Trafford!

| Standard of Superleague is pretty poor these days, add in the factors of injuries and ref inconsistency anything can happen from the top 8. The team to beat is very time variable you can look at Leeds, Wigan and Saints with Warrington and Huddersfield on the edges. We,ve got Walsh, Greenwood and Vea coming back which puts us in a strong position to finish top of the pile, we are not in good form for the full 80 mins at the moment, once we do we should,t fear any of the other contenders.

We've got a tough one this Thursday. Cas are very well coached team who can beat anyone on their day. They had a good win at leeds last week so confidence will be.
The is also a chance Greenwood might be back. If not Id expect him back for Widnes game in cc so I was told this morning

| When players are due back, I often wonder how long they have to be in training to be considered for a spot in the team. As fitness etc would need to be back up to speed.
Obviously starting from the bench helps, but never sure how long they would need to train for.

Depends on the injury and time out. Most will have to get thru contact sessions (they can be brutal) before given go ahead to play again.
Greenwood is back training. Id imagine he will be doing contact last week and this and KC will go from there.

We gifted you the game on Good Friday by having four players injured during the match.

Nobody mentioned it today but was told two weeks ago they expect him back for Widnes or leeds game.
He's going to take 5/6 weeks to get back into the swing of things. Hopefully he will hit full fitness when the 8s start. A fully fit fresh Luke Walsh could give us the edge.
