Think of Duggan as being at Jamie Lyon's level. He would be comfortably the best player in Super League. If there is a possibility of getting a player of that quality then IMO you do not pass it up.
He isn't the organising, controlling half we've lacked since Kyle left, but with him at 6 in the same sort of role Leon Pryce had, we would have the most destructive and exciting player in Super League. Wilkin or Hohaia could then do the scheming and we would be significantly improved.
If it were a case of Duggan for one season or Dobson permanent, then I would go with Dobson. But Duggan for 2 years ala Lyon is something we should not pass up if its at all possible. He is an outstanding player. |

sometimes saddend i question if you even watch the NRL, on jamie lyons level? he's not even on the same planet as jamie lyon... yeah sometimes he does exciting breaks or has the odd flash of brilliance. hes been poor and injury prone since last years state of origin.

Actually i would compare him to a more experienced kallum Watkins with a really spoilt bad attitude.

What nonsense. The boy is dynamite on the field. Brisbane Broncos were going to offer him a massive contract before his latest act of rebellion on twitter. They wouldn't do that for a player on a level with Watkins. |

Dugan is a special player, if he does come to SL then whoever signs him will have by far the best player in the league.

So after a little count up our injuries atm stand at: Lomax, Gardner, Roby, Perry, Puletua, Manu, Wheeler, Walker, Flanagan and maybe Clough after today?
We have had rotten luck with injuries so far!

Did anyone properly see how Flanagan picked up his injury? It seemed that the Hull KR bloke went in at his standing leg in the tackle.
