Saints have a good hardcore of support anyway, so if we suddenly become unsuccessful, we'd still have a decent support of around 8-9k anyway. The important thing about the new stadium is the location - it is pretty much perfect.

Thought those figures had to be wrong! I don't remember Leeds getting a crowd as low as 12,700 for a while let alone have an average like that.

FWIW our crowds for how appaling we've been for the majority of this season have held up pretty well and your crowds to say you play in a dump have been good aswell.

I never quite get the old crowd arguments between clubs though..........I would love to see every single superleague club averaging 15k + and take no pleasure whatsoever in seeing teams getting poor crowds.

As for Wigan I mentioned on our board last week that we've got Wire at home yet, a game against Leeds were all tickets are £10 Adults and £5 for kids and a game this Friday against Quins were Heinz have 'bought' the full North Stand and give the tickets away for free to their staff(all have been taken) so our average should rise yet.

Not so I'm afraid, I can drop the little monster off at my mum's and walk to KR in about 15 minutes, it'll take double that to the new stadium. And it's still 90 miles from my house - how inconsiderate.

The club made the move to stop you coming, your simply not welcome anymore. Unless you bring the kid and pay full adult price, and buy minimum of £15 worth sweets N drinks ok.

The new stadium will have a creche where you can leave your youngsters. It'll be run by Kyle Eastmond during his long injury periods. For some reason the kids same to relate to him. Any naughty children will have to sit on the O'loughlin step, where they will be force fed crusts to make their her go curly.

That figure is overall attedances, home and away.

Saints this season to many games will take more away fans than us as they are the best team atm and have been for a few years. Also because they are the best team more fans from other teams will turn up to saints games.

We are currently having our worst season for many years and have had many reasons all season why fans would be put off.

If we had the success of saints in the super leagu era, our gates would currently be well over 18,000 every game.

Why are saints fans pleased with attendances, they should be filling the stadium every week, they are one of the best teams in the history of the game.

We also have a premiership team in the town which many people attend and also a NL1 team in the town.

Saints get poor attendances IMO not because they are worse than Wigans like most fans say but because they are the best team and they should be getting more.

We are currently the 8th team in the league but have the 2nd best average.

Seems pretty simple to me why Saints fans are pleased with attendances, because they are rising, and because they are rising when a lot of other clubs are for whatever reason seeing a decline or not much of an increase. I don't think you will find many Saints fans who won't agree that in the past our attendances have been poor, but thats why we are happy at the fact that they are rising at last and we are getting decent attendances now and hopefully that will continue.

Fairplay, they are going up and thats great for the game but I cannot help but think they should be alot higher as you are the best team our game has to offer. It is a slight let down for someone who maybe does not watch RL to turn on sky sports and see saints playing and have heard of them because they are currently the best team in the sport and decide to watch it but then see emptiness all around the stadium, it does not look good. Saints attendances are still poor because of how good the team is, but I accept I cannot argue with the FACT they are going up.
