| Quote Saint Simon="Saint Simon"Terrible effort, Amor is better than Walmesly for starters'"
I would disagree with that. He can play the ball better but that's probably about it.
There is only one stat I could use to compare the two given the number of games Amor has missed through injury and that's average gain (unless I just compared the actual games they have both played in but it's too late on a Sunday evening for that kind of effort!).
Amor's average gain is 7.24m.
Walmsley's average gain is 8.43m.
(Mosoe's average gain is 8.29m)

If you had bothered to look at who posted "The awesome foursome" thread on red vee then you would know why I responded. And as I presume that Masoe was one of these "awesome foursome" it was on topic.

Jamie Peacocks is 6.29m which shows that a players average gain can't be the best way to decide who's a better prop.
I bet James Graham's wasn't always huge either in comparison to mountains like Walmsley or Masoe.

I'm sure James Graham's was always huge actually. He used to win the metre maker award every year.
I didn't say average gain was the best way to decide who is the best prop. I said it was the only stat I could use because Amor has missed most of the season injured. I think it's a fairly reasonable indicator though as Walmsley's fun against London, for instance, will have been countered by his tougher efforts against Wigan or Leeds. While Amor hasn't had the benefit of the London games to boost his stats nor has he had the more restrictive opponents like Wigan to inhibit them.
On visuals alone though Walmsley generally appears to make more metres with the ball than Amor.

James Grahams average gain was way down on Walmsleys, but his overall yardage was much better as, like Peacock plays he lots more minutes.

| I suppose the frustrating thing as a Saints fan Is you know he`s just been lazy. He has the ability, he has shown it against one of the very best packs in the world at the world cup ! so why cant he put the effort in now?
Too many overseas players come over for the holiday and fans have every right to rant to get rid as at the end of the day is there hard money that pays there wages!

Much like Saints, you don't know what you're going to get from week to week.
We've had some great rugby displays, some gritty, ground out victories with a depleted side, but we've also had some performances that have lacked any heart and some that are just bereft of any sort of competence.
That's why we're all so tetchy, we know that we can play (one way or the other), we just don't on a regular occasion, normally when us species have all built ourselves up for a good show.

If he could replicate his world cup form week in & week out he would still be plying his trade in the NRL as a top prop forward on twice as much money as Saints pay him but sadly this is not the case. If he can be as destructive in the play offs as he was at the DW a few weeks back then I for one would be happy.

If you're going to ridicule others for their poor use of English, there's no such word as "pendentry". Try "pedantry" or, better still, just stop being pedantic.........

Pedentry is simply unconventional spelling, but dis- and uninterested are different words that change the meaning of the text. Dux's observation is therefore important for the argument, yours is not.
