| Did not see it but was listening to Manchester, who were pretty much saying well it was a red, but should not have been a red because it spoiled the game.
The usual double standards you get from the press nowa days.
ie I'll say it was correct, but then bash the ref for spoiling the game.
Either it's a red or not, considering TP got a red for a high shot which was very marginal in france as I thought the shoulder only hit the head after the ball. ie bounced up. So anything close to that for consistency should also be a red. If it was high and late, then that makes it even easier for the ref to see red.
Either way we still seamed to struggle to break them down in attack considering the man difference.

| Thanks for last night and good luck for next week, you’ve done it before this season so there’s nothing to fear! By the way, great support from you guys last night, nice to read here last week about so many of your fabulous fair weather supporters weren’t coming, I see they’ve all crawled out of the woodwork now; they may want to crawl back into it next weekend?

| Mickey Mac deserved the sending off and should get three games, two for the offence and one for being stupid enough to think he could get away with it. I think Perry may get a call for the forearm into Lima's face late in the game and was also a lift in the tackle from Dudson that needs looking at.

I still say Kelvin Skerrett, is the sith lord, or grand daddy of the underhanded dirty play.

Just an observation, but it’s strange sometimes how one mans “dirty sod” when that dirty sod plays for another team, is another blokes “he’s as hard as they come” brilliant type player, he’s never dirty when he plays for yours, or my team. Strange that!

| Hooper always used to get caught out by the refs, no problem teams having a hardman or enforcer. But then you have to expect them to get sent off every couple of games.
Can't have it both ways which is the way Wane seams to want it. Either he's a dirty player put in there to get at teams and will get sent off occasionally, or he is there to play it by the rules.

| Micky Mac should be looking at a grade D-F intentional off the ball strike to the head with clenched fist , at least 3 games and rightly so

| At the time I just thought it was an ill timed tackle - but after each replay it became more and more sickening. A definite sending off and surely a ban to follow. Cannot believe Wane is disputing it.

Don't kid yourself matey - you finished top because Warrington and Leeds didn't want to and the rest of the league is garbage. The fact that you've been struggling for form of late after peaking in the middle of the season proves what a great move it's been for Wane to get you chasing the hubcab...

I thought Perry was lucky not to suffer any serious consequence for that, but having seen it again on the replay I'd say there wasn't much in it...he just dropped on Lima. Lima's reaction was OTT.

Leeds?
Jesus wept, they couldn't be less important to who finishes top if they tried.
The reason Leeds 'didn't want to win it' is because they were only good enough to beat Wigan, Saints or Wire once in the 6 league games against them.

Yes, you're absolutely right. Leeds are a terrible team who never contest big finals or anything after all, eh? They chase the top spot every season and throw everything they have into winning meaningless league games and are just too **** to win them or finish top despite all their best efforts. They weep into their pints every night at their accursedly low league position and winning at O/T is just no consolation to them at all in their agony, bless 'em.
Leeds have mastered the art of what modern SL is about - i.e. their being no point in bothering to turn up for pointless league games until August, and saving all their energy for the playoffs instead. You might still delight in the joy of actually winning [isomething[/i (no matter how unrecognised and denigrated a trophy it may be) after all those long, lonely years of mid-table obscurity and think that finishing top is a goal worth throwing everything you have at all season long. The successful clubs like us and Leeds however got bored with winning the hubcab years ago and direct our energies at the part of the season where it counts instead. The current Leeds side will be acclaimed in future generations as one of the greatest club sides of all time. So will Saints' teams of a few years ago. Your current team will merely go down in history as a footnote. So ner.
