Blitz teams early, then drop off.
Leeds had the metal to come back. In fact, besides the opening 10 in which leeds nigh on giftet you 2 tries there was never really a period of sustained wigan dominance after that. Deacon was a huge loss, all your kicks sailed straight into webb/donalds arms on the full.
Saints title this year.
I've felt they were gonna do it for a long time. Now with leeds a good chance of the grand final, im convinced. No way will saints lose a 4th back to back grand final to leeds. |

| You gifted us the first two tries?  That could be said for a few Leeds tries 
Granted Leeds had injuries but we were also awful at times. It isnt the end of the world for us losing to the Champions of the last 3 years by 1 point. We can take positives from the defeat as can you lot. I would fancy ourselves though if we played you again in 2 weeks time. |

So its Wires v Hudds and Wigan v Hull KR.
Assuming Wires and Wigan Win, Saints will force a Leeds v Wigan Semi.
If Wires and Hull KR win, its a Leeds v Wires Semi.
If Hudds and Wigan win, its a Leeds v Wigan Semi.
If Hudds and Hull KR win, its a Leeds v Huddersfield Semi.
Whichever way we look at it, the Leeds victory did us a massive favour and we are now in the driving seat.
